Coorg is famously known as the ‘Scotland of India’. And nestled here is the quaint little town of Virajpet. Home to thousands of coffee estates and spice crops, it is also Asia’s largest producer of honey. <br><br>It boasts of thick jungles, paddy fields and coffee plantations interspersed with pepper and cardamom plants and the holy river Cauvery. Set in this picturesque town is Club Mahindra Virajpet, the group’s first plantation resort. <br><br>Rooms are elegantly furnished with modern amenities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. You can start your day with a steaming hot cup of freshly brewed coffee and then head out to take a tour of the coffee plantation with your spouse. <br><br>Later, you can step out of the resort to explore the by lanes of this little town and learn its culture and history.

Scattered against a background of lush green coffee plants, the resort is built in traditional Kodava style with emphasis on the ‘aina mane’ (traditional Kodava homestead) to ensure that guests can get an authentic local experience.
