Hamilton Canal
Visit the Hamilton Canal, a 14.5 km canal that runs through Negombo in Sri Lanka and connects Puttalam and Colombo. The British began building the canal in 1802, and it was finished in 1804. Its purpose was to remove salt water from the marshes of Muthura
Negombo Fish Market
Visit the fresh fish market in Negombo, where both retail and wholesale sales of fish are available. It has a little entrance on the main road, which is also congested with vegetable and spice stalls.
Negombo Beach
